From our design and accounting staff in the office to our experienced field supervisors and founding leadership, we demonstrate integrity, determination, and adaptive problem-solving. Together, we have the fortitude to specialize in the challenging projects that make ACS a leader in the rapidly evolving field of multi-family construction.
Chad Trott
Chief Executive Officer
Chad Trott is the Chief Executive Officer of the ACS Group. Chad has leveraged his decades of experience in the multifamily construction market to build ACS's reputation as an industry leader, known for unparalleled reliability and quality workmanship. Chad’s steady, solutions-focused leadership has earned him a reputation as one of the industry’s most trustworthy and reliable partners on jobs of all sizes across the greater Phoenix metropolitan region and California.
Chad has spent his entire working life in the framing industry honing his insights on market forces and best practices. He was the President of Structural I Company in Arizona and was responsible for the company's growth and market prestige in the Arizona market. He has accumulated decades of experience and leadership, and prides himself on his attitude of perpetual growth and learning.
Chief Operating Officer
Blyth Perea
Blyth Perea is the Chief Operating Officer for the ACS Group, based in our Orange, CA office. Since joining ACS in 2015, Blyth has assumed responsibility for a wide range of operational and strategic needs across both the California and Arizona markets. Her keen attention to detail and forward-looking analysis underpin ACS's well-deserved reputation as a precise and efficient operator in the multifamily construction industry.
Prior to her tenure at ACS, Blyth was an attorney at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, a global business litigation firm headquartered in Los Angeles. At their New York offices, Blyth worked in all phases of complex residential mortgage-backed securities litigation, representing monoline insurance companies and government-backed entities in breach-of-contract and fraud claims. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona and, in 2008, earned her J.D. from Pace University School of Law. In 2020 and 2021, Blyth served as President of the California Framing Contractors Association.
Director of Finance and Administration
Sierra Hedstrom
Sierra Hedstrom is the Director of Finance and Administration for ACS. She joined ACS as a temporary employee in September 2015 and was brought on permanently as an HR generalist within 30 days. Promoted to HR and Payroll Manager in December 2016, Sierra spent nearly 9 years building the infrastructure supporting ACS's operational and administrative functions before her promotion to Director in July 2025. In her current role, she oversees accounting, human resources, payroll, and business administration, with a focus on leadership development, system optimization, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
Sierra grew up in a construction family in Colorado and began her professional career in Phoenix in 2007 with a high-voltage general contractor. Over nearly a decade there, she held diverse roles across finance, construction administration, payroll, IT, and field administration.
Sierra holds an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialty in software and databases, and is completing her Bachelor's degree in Accounting in March 2027. She is an SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional) and a Certified Payroll Professional through PayrollOrg. Her approach to work centers on process efficiency and data integrity—identifying better ways to accomplish objectives and implementing systems that optimize productivity and eliminate recurring problems.
Bret McLeod
Chief Strategy Officer
Formerly the CEO, Bret McLeod now serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of ACS, advising the executive team and maintaining critical client relationships. He spent over a decade at the helm of ACS, focusing on growth and the challenges specific to the Northern and Southern California markets. He presided over incredible growth at ACS as it successfully weathered various challenges while consistently delivering successful multifamily projects in a range of sizes. From 100,000 sf to 750,000 sf, 1 to 5 story with loft, zero property line, uptown to downtown, complicated plans, tower cranes, mixed-use, Bret did it all with ACS.
Prior to his work at ACS, Bret was the Director of Operations, then President of Structural I Company, California, a wood framing contractor operating primarily in Arizona and Southern California. During his tenure at Structural I, Bret successfully stewarded the company’s expansion into the Southern California market and established his reputation as a reliable and innovative leader in the industry.
Director of Operations
Jesus Garcia
Jesus Garcia serves as the Director of Operations in California. He has been an integral part of ACS since its inception, bringing his decades of industry experience to ensure its growth and success. He started by coordinating jobs across regions, then spearheaded the operational development of a new line of business, coordinating 90% of all design work for wall and floor panels as the company entered component manufacturing. As Director of Operations, Jesus currently manages all California operations and oversees the CAD department from the Orange, CA, office.
In 1986, Jesus took a summer job as a carpenter’s apprentice. A few years later, in 1989, he joined Structural I as a carpenter in Thousand Oaks. And the rest, as they say, is history. Jesus worked with Structural I over the next couple of decades, eventually taking the field supervisor position in 2003 and the project manager role a year later. He remained with Structural I until it closed and moved on to work with Bret, building ACS.
Director of Construction
Tyler Mussro
Tyler Mussro is the Director of Construction for ACS. Since his start at ACS in 2019 as a project manager, Tyler has built a reputation for steady leadership, sound judgment, keen instincts, and an ambitious vision for ACS's future. He has completed over 4,000,000 sf of work with the ACS Group in Arizona and is also moving forward with an expanded role in active jobs in Southern California. During his tenure at ACS, Tyler has fostered new relationships for ACS, including with National Owner Builders, and joined the ESOP Communications Committee when ACS transitioned to an employee-ownership model.
Before joining the team at ACS, Tyler worked with a construction start-up, where he familiarized himself with the multifamily sector as a project manager. He began his career in the single-family sector as a superintendent with Shea Homes from 2014 to 2018. Tyler holds a BSLA from Arizona State University and earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2016.
